Walsall Adult and Community College is a college in its communities, for its communities. We provide mature, calm and purposeful environments for learning, where staff members make all our students feel safe and respected at all times.
We support people of all abilities to reach their potential, gain qualifications and realise their ambitions. Our learners come from a wide range of cultural backgrounds and faiths and we value and celebrate the rich diversity of our college community. We are a truly inclusive college that treats everyone as a special individual.
In December 2012 Ofsted inspectors visited WACC to assess the quality of the learning and support we provide. The inspectors said WACC provides outstanding learning and support in every respect. Therefore, whether you are a company or an individual and regardless of age, background, ability or type of course studied, you can be assured of an outstanding learning experience.
We want you to access to learning as easily as possible so you can read this website in a range of languages by using the translation facility .You can also mail us or give us a call to enquire about opportunities or enrol with us.
WACC offers hundreds of courses to enjoy and qualifications to achieve, ranging from GCSE’s including English and Mathematics, IT courses, work-related qualifications such as NVQs and Apprenticeships, through to independent skills training for life and work which are tailored to meet the individual needs of people with learning difficulties and disabilities.
You can search for courses through this website or through our course catalogues which we publish twice a year. Please tell us if a course you wish to follow needs to be developed and we will respond to your request if it is viable.
We have a whole suite of courses that help you to develop a hobby, interest or talent, to promote your personal wellbeing, or even to turn your talents into a small business enterprise.
We want to help preserve our planet for future generations so we provide learning that is local to you – only a walk, bus or bike-ride away. Our centres in Leamore and Caldmore are welcoming, comfortable and well equipped with ICT and specialist learning facilities to support your learning. We also work in over 40 community venues including community centres, libraries, faith centres, Sure Starts, nurseries and schools to bring great learning right to your doorstep, in environments familiar to you where you can learn local and go far.
