Walsall Myplace is open to children and young people aged 9-19 and to the wider local community from 8.00 AM to 10.00 PM Monday to Friday and at weekends. Its facilities include an indoor/outdoor performance space, a chill out zone, computer workspace, a garden, an arts room, a café and specialist facilities to support young people’s health needs. It also has meeting room facilities which are available for hire.
Activities available at Walsall Myplace include:
- advice and support for young people on careers, money, health and other issues
- homework clubs and other support with learning
- a volunteering and skills exchange
- enterprise and business advice.
Walsall Myplace also provides inter-generational projects with the local community, community safety advice, and a wide range of other positive activities and personal development activities for young people out of work.
